Well, seems that life likes to BF me in the A a whole lot, I have a great many blessings and am thankful for them but lets just say I would be blessed with hunger and homelessness as well if things don't look up (or certain people remember they are family). Aaaanyways, have actually been doing a few pieces I have not finished/scanned, and updates of works, when I stop splitting my time between fixing my life and playing Wow to forget about it (My Death Knight addiction runs deep young ones), I will be filling up the page with new goodies and hopefully my new style is either a win or just as good as the old one (or just as bad, depending on your taste). So thanks for still keeping tabs those of you who notice this and I sincerely hope my new stuff will not disappoint.

Having spent the better part of this month promoting my book on nuclear tourism, it’s now time to turn DANGER ROOM’s attention to all the other books out there related to topics we cover on this blog (and make for appropriate beach reading). Here’s my list of recommended summer reading, with some notes on why I chose these books for DANGER ROOM readers:

Kaku1) Physics of the Impossible: A Scientific Exploration into the World of Phasers, Force Fields, Teleportation, and Time Travel. Michio Kaku elegantly covers many of the military technologies we write about on this blog, such as the ability of metamaterials to make "cloaking devices." Using a physicist’s knowledge and a clear gift for writing, Kaku explains which technologies are merely improbable and which are outright impossible. It’s a book that believes in the infinite ability of the improbable to come true, but with a scientist’s skepticism.
