New Forum Contest!

Hey guys, as you can see the new forum has been put into effect. It has a TON of new options you really have to explore around to find them all.

I am going to play around in the admin console tonight and unlock more options suited towards TAO.

In the meantime this color scheme/buttons are just placeholders.

I am hoping a few photoshop/designers might be interested in a little contest.

Post your examples of what you think TAO whould look like, include hex values of your colors.

-50 "fiddy" USD to the winner if picked from these forums. Winner to be picked by me, based on member feedback.
-Include button set and layout.
-You need to be pay pal member to get paid.

So let's see some some new looks folks, remember I'm an egg head not an artist.

So what I mean is post a screen capture of your skin, and post the hex values of your colors in the post.

From there we will pick a new look for the tao forums. You can also request changes in this thread and I will mod this forum as you guys see fit.

well the new colour must be white like the one u have bills on the flash player or black and blue not this color
the member color admins must be red,mods must begreenand members must be near by gold colour

there are alot of things that i think bills need to clean up in mirror server but i think until now u did a good job even waaay better then me or everyone else*i am no one*
the smiles must be more then that
there should be a alive chat at the buttom of the forum and if u want the s/s of everything like that i will show it to u




edit:i can do designs and creat units if u want i have alot of them around me but i don't think it works in TAO but it might be possib;e to work on the a little

hmm strange:
1.bills is ignoring me no idea why!!!!
2.never accepted my suggestions,i know the gray was beter but the flash.com site that u got bills the forum is nicer

Can i just submit the old forum style as my entry??

Seriously though, while the new upgrades and functions are nice, I always liked the easy laidback coloring of the forum. It was easy to see, and well balanced. The buttons were nothing fancy, and got the job done.

Ya i will turn it back, when we upgraded the upgrade script nuked all our old settings, hence we had to pick some colors.

Forum will be back to gray later tonight or tommrow.

well two things:

edit:i think the colors that i choosed was good for the forum that the colot is diferent then gray for usernames and writings

but however i got a suggestion for the new colour incase u want to make some changes:
golds members,admins and mods,members regulars
