assasin or scout?

im planning on getting gold soon and wonder if i should get a assasin or scout.

assasin is like another knight w/ movement, but scouts can kill witches and clerics from a distance

It depends on whether you are more offensive or defensive. If you like to rush your knights and others fowards and push your enemy back, then the assassian (sp?) would be groovy. But if you have those wards, think your moves out carefully, like to stay at a distance, and think you could beat Garry Kasparov at a game of Chess, then go with the scout.

Play a game and watch what you do and look at what strategies you use. Or set up a second account and get two gold accounts, one gets the assassian (sp?) and the other gets the scout.

You don't have to put (sp?) next to assassin. and i would go with assassin, just because i think they rock.

scouts are great... good range, pretty damn good block percentage, good range, decent damage, good range, and excellent speed (despite the recovery time...)

I like the assassin too though. She has a better recovery time, better movement, and can hit like three people if you put her in the right place. Plus, she has pretty good blocking. Once, I took down two knights just with her and managed to squeek by with a win. I'm not sure which is better. I usually favor the scout, but since everybody is favoring him I thought I'd lay the devil's advocate and show how she has some good skills too.

2 Scouts can be really annoying....BAM! your cleric gets hit with one arrow...BAM! bye cleric. They are very good at just relaxing...watching arrows hit everything in site...its usually only useful to have 1 assassin *if any* since they have lower hp, tend to die with 2 hits *same with scouts usually* and can't get close to lightning wards without gettin fried rather badly. Scouts can just pick off those spellcasters without a sweat.

Right. I dislike having two assassins (it helps I only have one) I usually have a scout or two and an assassin. Early-game I keep her next to my scout(s) since she has low recovery time, and can protect my precious scout while he recuperates from all the dreadul work of firing his arrow.

I thought you did get a choice, since they mention it, but I didn't. I automatically got a scout. I don't mind terribly, but it is kind of hurty that I didn't have the choice.

Oh well, I would have picked a Scout anyway.
