Unit Drops - for all members?

I have not registered as a gold yet (I asked my mom to do it for Chirstmas) but today I was lucky enough to be in the Armaggedon server when a unit drop occured, but I read the message and it said a stone golem for only golds, but i thought greys got it too, does anyone know?

The Stone Golem was not a unit drop, it is a unit just for gold members, ATM. The unit drops are for everyone.
