Best Grey Formation?

What's the best grey formation that you've faced? Of course, formation won't get you anywhere without good tactics...

I would agree if you said that there was no one perfect formation, but I would disagree that there are no good formations. Granted some formations work better some types of formations than others.

umm.... there are most definatly good and bad formations.... but it is true that almost every formation has a formation that can totally counter it

Seems to me that you might be able to withstand any grey attack and come up smelling like a rose.

I'd test it out, but I'm having too much fun trolling for newbs on my GL server.

yes, if formation X were to go up against formation Y, it would get raped but if formation X went up against formation Z, it would win. It all depends on the formation of the opponent. So most likely, something that could adapt to situations would be the best.

Basically, it's like one freakin' huge game of rock-paper-millions of other items used to describe strategic formations

Even if you could come up with the perfect formation, brain power and ingenuity could break it apart. In essence it makes the perfect formation obselete.

mine's not a gray formation, but so far it's worked against everyone's but those who have rearranged specifically for it. it's not really a rock paper scissors game unless the strats are well defined and prepared...

Yea well gold formations are much more stable .
