Do you mez?

Just curious how many people make strategic use of the enchantress and Fg. And in general do you mez and forget or take advantage of the 0% chance to block.

Personally i'm not a big fan of enchantress, she seems a little sloppy to me, but i like the Fg. Nothing better to shut down a rush or for that late game "kill". I tend to play it by ear when it comes to killing the mezed unit, overall with the golem its seems better to dispatch the frozen asap to free the Fg for the next victim.

yea, the fg is good for stalls too. if someone breaks your lines, you can hold them steady.

last game though, i used it to negate an enemy's lighting ward because it was annoying.

they're also good for point sniping cuz they can "shoot" over people... like i use it to disable enchantresses for instance...

Did you try and melee the mezed ward? I've been dying to know if the 0% block applies, but it hasn't come up since it occured to me.

im pretty sure... it IS still a ward... but hmm... whoa that would be freaky... i'd need to try that on a noob though... i'd feel stupid doing that and losing for it... lol

yea... but i really dont feel like killing wards that i dont have to anyways tho... and it would take forever

Yeah very true, i would just like to smack one once just so i could know for sure, not the knowledge would be very useful (with existing contraptions) but i just have to know.

I just don't like mezing for some reason. I prefer just attacking to kill.

I use the cheapest trick there is

i put my dark majik witch frunt and center then i take out their healer first

I used to mez but ditched my chanter in favor of another witch. In the event I picked up another chanter, I might try things out with two... two combined could be rather deadly. I don't have a FG to try out that mez, but based on its usage against me I think if I had one I would use it often.

A) the witch trick only works if you're fighting someone who's not looking out for their cleric. plus, it puts your witch right where a lot of people put their lightning ward.

B) two enchantresses... i think you'd lose out so much on raw fighting power and range that you'd suffer more than benefit... just my opinion

It's short for mesmerize. It means to paralyze, like with a enchantress or frost golem.

I tried that melee attacking a mezed ward thing, and it does indeed allow you to hit it. Since the question was asked.
