Heroic Dark Wizard

I was just in a game on Banff against a pretty good guy (whose name i forgot). He was good, but i was winning pretty well, I had his assassin and a knight paralyzed and the rest of his guys were defending the cleric in a corner. Then strange things started happening.

I moved my scout and assassin forward to finish his cleric, witch, and pryo. The witch had the key position in the line, and was already damaged, so i went for her first. Except she blocked the first shot to the front. No big deal I figured, such things happen, Ill finish her with the archer. Then she blocks the side shot from the archer. This cost me the archer the following turn, because I had been counting on him opening a hole for the assassin and prevent the witch from taking her shot. In a last ditch effort to get to the cleric before he could heal, I moved the assassin forward and attacked the wizard from the side. She blocks it. I was frustrated. With the cleric alive to repair the damage i had caused early in the game, things swung against me.

Finally it boiled down to my two knights and enchantress against his two knights, assassin, wizard and cleric. I had a knight and the assassin frozen, so all i had to do was knock off the wizard and i had things won. I move my knight forward for a side attack. She blocks it. Next turn she knocks off the enchantress and things fell apart.

There are certain things you count on when planning your moves. One of them is that a dark magic witch won't block side shots (Particularly consecutive side shots). Through personal prowess and skill that one wizard virtually cost me the game.

Ah, similair to the oh-so common heroic Pyros.Luckily, I'm yet to find one of those.

I'm having problems with heroic scouts.
Cost me two games cause the stupid little buggers blocked shot after shot.
I need my scout to step it up and take notes on that.

Yeah, I had 3 games in a row like that recently. First there was a heroic assassin (I'd say almost 10 side blocks and only 1 hit from the side). Incidentally, she also blocked one of those side shots and then hit my knight and assassin, both facing her, before fleeing in abject terror. Then a heroic scout (5?) coupled with a heroic witch... she blocked 2 side shots and a front shot from a scout when i couldve finished her. Finally, a heroic just about everything. I seemed to be headed for eternal damnation (and a loss) when my pyros started acting heroic and saved the day. I haven't had any particularly heroic pyros up against me lately, but I know how annoying it can be.

Count the number of times i said "heroic": 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. That's it? Maybe I should add some more...

the only heroic thing i've had, was a knight, but those are pretty common.

ive had a 'herioc' dark magic witch b4 there blockin is the worst pretty much i had her turned to the side to fend off a heavily dammaged knight b4she was guarding a scout . the witch was already at 10 health b/c it got hit by an arrow. and the scout i was guarding was at like...err...5 health. the witch had to fend off a single arrow and i would win. the other persons scout fired an arrow and then.........she didnt block it and i lost the match...but...she was brave to last that long...(lol didnt expect that did u)
