OFFICIAL MISSION STATEMENT (Created August 25th, 2004)

I don't know why people think that my clan should be held to some kind of moral level that nobody else must also have. What, just because we're big and we have our name everywhere you look you think we have to be risen to a higher moral standard than anyone else?

We're just people like any other, composed of people. And people come in a wide selection of flavors, from nice guys to jerks. We're not going to watch our words for anyone, simply because nobody else has to watch their words.

See, people don't understand why we're so good, and they think it's because of some mysterious reason.

Those that hate us think that we're some kind of cult, or a mafia family that coerces its members that do things. Apparently, we don't play the game for fun like everyone else does.

Those that love us think that our success is due to some kind of brilliance, some kind of genius. They think that we must have an amazing charm or grace about us that nobody else has.

Well, screw both sides. I'm sick of this garbage. The ONLY reason why this clan is what it is is simply because I'm a grown man of 26 and happen to be mature enough to stick with what I started. That's something that most leaders of clans never learn. I find it funny how so many of these so-called leaders will just abandon the clan to go somewhere else, therefore killing the clan.

I just stuck around since January, and of COURSE I would pick up new talent. And this new talent would pick up others. It grows upon itself with little work from me. A reputation will be built around very simple standards and non-complication recruiting procedues. No mystery, no coercion, no genius, no magic. Just consistency.

You know how it is; everyone who is highly rated in this game is not somehow better than everyone else. They just PLAY alot and therefore they get high ratings. Same with me. I just stuck around a lot and therefore the clan is built. Simple as that.

So cut the jazz.

We're just people like anyone else, and we'll not be guilted into having to have some kind of mysterious moral standard that is subjective to every complainer. So we have clan pride. So does everyone else. So we're rude at times. So is everyone else. So we have good players. So does everyone else.

We will not be placed at a higher moral standard than everyone else, and I will keep doing exactly what I've been doing since January. I've not changed. Nothing has changed.

So I say to the long line of netjak haters: screw you all. We'll do what we want.

I say to the long line of netjak admirers: screw you all, we're not that special and you can do it too.

Leave us the heck alone, and this is the last time I publically defend this clan. I'm going to do my thing, you all do your thing, and we'll move on. I'm done with this subject.
