Pro-Sports Style Tournament: Leadership Selection

PLEASE do not try to sign up for this tournament in this thread. Signups are in the thread labeled "signups." Any general questions you have about the tournament will be answered there as well.

The purpose of this thread is to select leaders for our teams. If we end up with enough people, we may expand to six teams so if a potential leader is not selected for one of the first four, he will still have a chance if more teams are created or another leader pulls out (which is unlikely).

Ultimately, the decision regarding who the leaders will be is up to me but as stated in the other thread, I am going to make my decisions entirely based on what everyone asks me to do. I will obviously pay more heed to the opinions of the participants in the tourney, as they're the ones that really need the best leaders possible but I would also greatly appreciate non-participant opinions.

I would ask everyone that would like to voice an opinion to vote for three of the potential leaders and rank them in order of which ones you want the most. If you want to rank them all go ahead but please have at least three. Reasons for your votes would also be appreciated.

To all the potential leaders: Please cast your votes as well but do not cast them for yourselves. We all know you consider yourselves qualified. You don't have to, but I highly recommend you post here arguing for why you would be a good leader. Please keep your comments about yourself and avoid tearing the other potential leaders down (with the exception of good-spirited and comical trash-talk which I highly encourage).

Having said that, people are going to vote for their own clan members rather than who would make the best leaders, so it's rather academic.

Make some arguments, try to change some minds, and keep in mind there are probably more people from your clan in this tourney than any other clan. Trust my judgment. And to everyone: keep in mind I'm more likely to take an opinion into consideration if you back it up with a reason.

Wolfie was a leader in BG, so I know a lot about his qualities.
LT led AK, who we warred with.
As did DL.
Allstar's just cool and I don't know ck1 or Exile.

I know a lot of you probably don't know me, but I HAVE captained a team before in a tag-team tournament (before I became Exiled), and we did rather well (reaching the finals). If I do become a captain, I'm confident of victory.

I led AK to war with BG and brought us to leader vs. leader battle. Quite an accomplishment, seeing as BG was the #1 clan when we warred them. (They're still #3 after death, and going strong.)

Like Exile, I will pick my leaders without partisanship in mind, and I will not consider myself eligible to vote for myself. Top 3 votes get reasons.

1 - Dragoen Link: An accomplished leader, and my co-coordinator in battle strategy. Also, very well-rounded player (if not a bit lackluster in freestyle games), obviously a good judge of a player's ability. I have confidence that he'd make a good one.

2 - The Exiled: I don't know much about his credentials (although I'll take his word for it in terms of tag-team finals), but I know he's a good strategist, so he gets my #2 vote.

3 - Allstar: I don't know much about his tactical abilities, but I know he can guage a player's skill, being one of the best himself, so he gets the #3 vote for good judgement on one's abilities.

1. LonelyTylenol - I chose LonelyTylenol because I have been led by him in The Arcadian Knights, for about as long as AK has been around. He has always been a great leader, and I have never doubted his decisions.

2. Allstar - Allstar because, he is an outstanding player, and back when he led *Tao allstars* he was a good leader. I think he knows how to put together a team very well.

3. Dragoen Link - He has done a good job as being one of the leaders of AK in Great Lakes, and will continue to do so. He knows most of the People on Tao that are recognizable, fairly well. I think he will make a good leader in this also.
