Extra Units/Setup Disappears

In the New Years Unit Drops (those 5 a day ones) I managed to win a helluva lot of new units, including a DMW (which became an integral part of my setup), a cleric (which I considered using later, but never got around to), and enchantress (which I don't like anyways) and 1 extra pyromancer (who I really didn't need, seeing as I already took a Pyro out of my setup)

This morning, I was playing against a Gold who was essentially toying with me, and I didn't notice something important:

My DMW I usually had was replaced with a Pyromancer!

When I checked settings to put my DMW back in, all of my extra units were gone.

I understand that the server has its own maintenance, but why are my units disappearing without my actual account going away?

EDIT: Seems I've lossed my win loss record as well, but it's okay because I never cared much about it.

So my account was completely erased except for the setup, which is the exact same (unless you include the switching of a DMW with a pyro).
