Server Resets And Losses

This is the second time I have recieved a loss because the server reset and kicked me, and everyone else off. First I want to know why gold's get kicked off at the same time, instead of only non-paying members. Second, what are the chances of having my loss(es) removed. Note the time of this message to prove that I was online and am posting directly after.

Server reset, if I get it right, is similar to a computer reboot: everything turns off. No one can be on the server while the server resets (imagine trying to keep a program running while rebooting your computer).

Also if I'm not mistaken, everyone is warned about the reset before it happens. People in the server get a warning and the web page where you start the game is updated with a warning not to log in until the reset happens. Thus somewhere along the line you were shown the warning.

The staff may change the account, but from what it sounds like, it's not something they normaly do. A loss is just taken as a loss.

perhaps I'm using the wrong terminology (reset), but there was no warning, or I would not have played. This is probably the same reason that everyone else was on: they didn't know.

Unhappy

I was playing a match just now when out of nowhere, the game dissapears and Im back at the login screen. No warnings or anything, nothing I could do to prevent it. I logged in and tried again only to get the same thing, 2 or 3 minutes into a game. Only after the third time did I get frusterated enough to come vent my dissaproval in the forums. I have 17 losses on my account, and maybe 8 of them have been a full completed game. Not something I minded up until now when I can no longer play a full game anymore. I know it is not me swearing or pressing F5 either... oh wellll......

Try 14 disconnect losses from words that aren't curses, broswer crashes, internet connection failure, or (twice) the server just resetting

Send a message via AIM to SF-Ken
i played over 200 games.. only 1 lost to disconnect because i kicked the power button of my computer when i was getting up for some water.

Maybe you should check your internet connection. when you get kicked off.. get a lag test right away.

Hehe matt, 14 disconnects here too, I think. Which puts me at 3 real ones. Or is it 13 and 4? Not sure. And I think we can both proudly say that one of those losses was due to each other... err. Very badly phrased. On the other hand, all but one of my crashes have come from an error message having to do with my explorer hating flashplayer's guts...
