So far tonight, roughly half of the games I have played I have been disconnected when I was about to win. Including one where a dark witch was on the line.

This is so frustrating!

more than likely if it is that many disconnects its on ur side of the line..ur isp is getting disced so u get disconnected from site..

The Banff Server is throwing a lot of people off and I'm paying for my losses lately. Don't make the assumption that the problem is on our end. I'll find every 'disconnected' thread in the forum and bump them if I have to. It's a problem and needs to be looked into.

I play on banff easily for 3-5 hrs at a time and I have only been disconnected three times and all those times it was a system disconnect or refresh. Otherwise this magically Disconnect you speak of I have not expericenced.. However I mentioned there was a question so..

Out of everyone who gets disconnected do any of you have Dial-up?

If your connecting via cable modem or DSL or even by T-3, session refreshs are not uncommon hence the disconnect. Window refreshs or cache updates and well we all know what F5 does.

When I had DSL I never ever EVER dog a disconnect out of nearly 200 games. Then, I upgraded to cable and have had 3 disconnects on it. I know it's on my end because I can't access any web page for about 5 minutes.

i probably play almost as much as meletus (maybe more?) and i've been disconnected twice in my life from tao (except for that swear filter!!!). Both times it was a server getting reset and i didn't get a lose for it.

I got DSL. Good stuff.

I got DSL 2 and ive never been disconnected cept when i was downloadin a HUGE patch for a game i had to update (wich was expected)

ive yet to see one when all is fine and well
