Are Clans feasible in the current game system yet?

Below is what I posted on the Knights of the Round table Thread I thought i would share it with everyone. Tell me what you think of the situation.

I enjoy this game and i think that Clans would be cool. But with the current way that this game works it seems kind of awkward. Although im not gold yet (hoping that it might come with christmas) and i don't know what extra oiptions u guys get on the servers. It seems that if u were waiting in the lobby on a "board" that someone u didn't want to play might jump in. Then u are getting ur stats screwd up by either having to leave the game to play your friend. Or u stay and finish the game and delay (maybe forfiet) the clan game. Also your clan is spread across different servers. You can all create new acounts on the other servers but that is ineficient, wastes server space, and unless ur wanting to pay $15 dollars a month ur not gonna have gold on them all (i don't really have to say less unit selection do I?)

Begin reasonable requests for Clan server- I think if clans were to work well in this setup it would need more gold members, to support a 4th server specifically setup up for clan games. This server would need password protection games, also maybe a buddylist kind of thing. It would have to track stats of the clan. Have a system of starting new clans say 6 members or more. One thing that has to happen is being able to duplicating your Gold accounts from the other standard servers.

Begin Wishful thinking- It would be really nice if u could make a 2 vs 2 or more to actually get the full "team/clan" effect. Also creating maps that show territories that u can battle for, (terrain maybe) And Clan specific paint jobs. Maybe battle flags for the knights to wear on their backs. Larger battles. This would also encourage more people to become members.

Anyway this is just my view of the current situation. If guys can find a way around the current problems then i would love to Clan games.

i think they should make a gold member only server that would have a few boards where u could fight 2 vs 2, have a few boards bigger then normal boards, and a few boards with terrain like forests, a big hill when u would get att bonuses for being higher, and just a few regular boards to so u could play another member fairly

Two v. Two and name changing would definately be beneficial for clans to be able to work in this game. But why would you need to be a gold member in order for these things to take affect.

Failing name changing, putting a clan name under your name while in the game or team banner or something would be beneficial as well.

Well if it was required to be members to play the clan part. it would entice more people to pay for the service. And come on $5 a month isn't that big a deal. (I know im not gold yet but i plan to get it soon.) Besides it would mean buying new server space and that costs money. So would being able to transfer or duplicate your account to each server. Also it would be a lot of work.

But you sorta *can* have clans now... they're just extremely inefficient and such. For instance, you could get together with your friends, say "We are all gonna sign up on Banff server with the tag ()[username], ne?" and everyone does. So there's like five people on Banff like

ne? But that is kinda lame, and you have to rely on IM or the telephone to set up a game...

Terrain would be lovely.
2v2 maps would be lovely.
Me going Gold would be lovely.

I think that if there were to be a new server there would have to be probably 3 more good clans. Each clan should write letters to Bills, seed, and devine to try to get support for clans. Also if we were to get support in the way of a new server it would definatly have to be payed for. But if they can make it a gold only server and golds can transfer accounts or have accounts on each server (or even just their original server and the Clan server). i don't like the idea of having to go gold and then pay more money for the clan server. Call it going Platinum i guess

so gefore we get a new server we need to:

A) TAO needs 3 other clans with 20 members or more (more gold the better...for some reason gold members voices seem so much louder...I wonder why that is?)

B) We need to talk to bill, and the others.
-and-
C) send bill and the rest as much spam as possible say it will stop as soon as they buy us a clan server.

Just a joke about the spam Bill.

My basic point now is we need 3 more big name clans. 20 members or more. I think Great Lakes Golems is probably getting close to that number. If there are others let us know.
