Killing Clerics

A lot of ppl try to kill my cleric first. So if they try, i let them and then attk the other units that hes not using. By the time my cleric dies, so does at least 2 of his knights, then i win~~

I agree with the strategy wholeheartedly, but two knights? That's stretching it a bit. He goes down in two knight hits, or one witch hit and a knight hit, and so on, not that many turns. It IS a useflu strategy though, I don't know why people think the cleric is all-important. i don't even use him any more. The extra unit is a big boost.

i usually used the dark magic witch to kill cleric...if i have the shot because it takes it out with just 1 hit

I would find that unless you use all your units fairly evenly, an extra unit's use is limited. I can see how you'd get extra attack power plus some more opportunity fire, but I'd just be afraid that every bit of damage is another liablity i cant afford.

If you don't protect your cleric it will die easily in 4 turn from a scout and fewer from a knight, assassin, or combination. Only 2 of those turns can be used to attack the other player, 3 if your cleric is far. That isn't enough to kill many units. Not worth the cleric.

I often use a similar strategy, but for my witch. People waste moves to kill my witch while I kill their cleric. A very good trade, in my experience.

my knight (singular) rarely reaches the enemy cleric, but my scouts and assassins do most games, and unless the cleric's well defended, it just happens that way.

but yes, a witch distraction is excellent for covering a cleric assault.

I use two scouts in my lineup for the sole purpose of taking out the cleric in the first two moves. Within those first two moves, the other guy either tries hopeless to save the cleric, or gets two attacks in on my knights with are usually blocked.

The only failing is that if the enemy is competent enough i might lose one of my scouts. Far worth it if you ask me.

Killing Clerics

I use my Witch, and if they are doing the same as me, i have my Lightning tower waiting to take out their witch, if i get first turn, i either kill their Cleric or Witch, whichever one i can reach first. its a good tactic, most people dont expect it, especially the noobs.

you don't necessarily have to kill their cleric.... usually it's easier to rip apart their mages and scout first... then kill their cleric... it's more costly, but you can just zap their knights to death with the lightning ward.
