How many times this must happen, I cannot say, but I can say this over and over again, it sucks. I really hate the amount of times Great Lakes is down, but it is the only server my friends log on to, so any other server isn't really my best option. I'm sure everyone else has posted a bunch of rantings about how they want to know why it isn't working, but I can say this to all those who ask: NOBODY KNOWS. I'm not going to ask what's wrong, just complain about it.

Speaking for the paying customers, why should any of them have to get used to it?
They pay for full usage.
The correct solution is it should either be in full operation, standard maintenance not withstanding, or people on that server should cancel their accounts and move to a different one.

Also, I must say it is your answer that shows ignorance.
You are a mod. That responsibiltiy should make you lead by example. You should be mature, and respectful. Sinking to the level of the poster is wrong. You need to maintain integrity. And getting involved in flaming shows a lack of such.

Sometimes people do need to be flamed. In that case, the flaming should be done by the regular forum members, and there is never any doubt that we will. But a mod should be above that, only getting involved when greater action must be taken.

If you cannot handle this, maybe you should not be a mod. There is no shame in being a regular forum member, which gives you greater freedom to speak out, but less ability to control the situation. But since you are a mod, I hope that you excersise a stronger degree of maturity, and be an example that even us senior forum members look up to.


Trogdor, I understand your frusteration. And I suppose you have the right to speak out. But it could have been put better. And rather than just complain, offer something more constructive. Go to a different server to play. Spend time in the forum making suggestions you think would help. Or spend more time in the forum learning about the game, and making friends in here so that you'll enjoy the game more when you see us in the server.
Plus your name is so damn cool, you gotta be more involved.

However, aside from the spelling, ocorious make a reasonable post.
Should a really stupid post be made, a similar answer on your part, or a link to this would be great, then step back and let us flame the crap of of them for you.

It WOULD be showing my ignorance if not for the fact that I was joking. Just because I'm a newbie doesn't mean I'm a complete idiot or an ignorant bastard.
