Ok here the situation...

Your Witch and your scout are in their last HP points you can barrier either of them to protect from the next attack. You can heal them next turn. Neither of them are able to attack next turn and the knight that is attacking them has full health. But one of them will die this turn which do u save?

In my last game I picked scout and it turned out pretty good until my cat turned of power to periphials (and my cable modem) and i got disconnected.

take your pick and please post your reasons!

Essentially you're saying:

Which is better in the endgame alone against a Knight - a Witch or a Scout?

....Assuming that one hit will kill you but you can heal up gradually.

I'd say you did the right thing. You want a Scout.

1. It's faster.
2. Higher blocking.
3. Believe it or not, it does the same damage per turn against a single target as the witch. 6 damage per turn.

It's just an overall better unit - in the endgame. Sure, the Witch has an unblockable attack, but since time isn't a factor this shouldn't matter.

I'd say the single issue of recovery totally decides it. Knight can get behind Witch EASILY once every two turns... no way your Cleric can heal that fast.

EDIT: if this isn't the endgame, then I'd pick Witch. Simply because it's worth more in the middle game. But then you want to be sure to kill ALL the enemy ranged units, or else you're going to get fried in the endgame.

yeah, scout for sure, though it may have been worth saving the witch since the scout has a reasonable chance of blocking

scout, the witch sometimes i use for like a one time use... the scout can be used for a loooong time... higher hp and blocking and range

scout no doubt the blocking clinches it and it takes 3 knight hits on the scout with a heal and only 2 on the witch.
